Video: Making You the Next Big Thing

In case you missed the memo, online video is kind of a big thing. Not only can it be a terrific marketing strategy, but it also is a great way for your customers and fans to get to know you better. Whether you're a musician sharing your latest song or an indie crafter promoting a new product, video works like a charm.

We're also pretty excited about video here at IndieMade because the latest version release made it possible for YOU to imbed video into your IM site. More on that in just a minute.

And now, without further ado, IndieMade presents...

How To Embed Video into Posts & Pages

Step 1 - Log in to your IndieMade site. From the Dashboard, click on "CONTENT" and choose either "BLOG POSTS" or "PAGES" (wherever you'd like to imbed your video). Pick a page or a blog post to edit.

Step 2 - Go to YouTube or wherever you are hosting your video and select the "Embed" option. Copy the code they give you.

Step 3 - Insert your cursor where you would like the video to go and click on the "embed media" button in the toolbar.

Step 4 - The Embed Media Dialog box will pop up. Paste the embed code into the text box and click "OK."

Your embedded video will look like this:

You're done! Save your changes and get ready to rock!
