News from the craftosphereIndie Craft Parade, September 9-11, is a three-day festival that brings the best artists from the southeast under one roof in Greenville, SC.

On September 9-10, 80 handcrafted booths will stand along the Courtyard in Geneva, IL for the Festival of the Vine Fine Art & Craft Show. The fest offers high quality crafts, food, entertainment, and wine tastings.

On September 10, enjoy the monthly Ballston Arts & Crafts Market in Arlington, VA. Come for the crafts as well as the local music!

Also on September 10 is the I AM Fest, Connecticut's premiere indie music festival in New London, CT. The all-day event includes local and national musicians, an indie craft market, graffiti, fireworks, live art shows, and much more!

The next Designers Downtown Market event will be held on September 24 in Raleigh, NC, showcasing some of the finest handcrafted arts and crafts in the area.

YarnCon, Chicago's only indie yarn show, also takes place on September 24. The show offers a place to promote, sell, and celebrate the yarny arts.

This Thursday, September 8 from 7:30-9:30 pm, participate in a Craft Corner Deathmatch, organized by the folks at Bloomington Handmade Market in Bloomington, IN. Two-person teams will compete from prizes by taking up challenges using random sets of craft supplies. Click here to get in on the action!

The Urban Folk Art Show is accepting vendors for its October 7-9 event in Hillsboro, OR and its November 4-6 show in Carmel, IN.
