UPDATE Oct 4 2015: Performance has been good and steady for days; we're going to call this issue closed. All is well.
Performance on one of the frontline webservers has been sketchy today; with brief periods of very poor performance. We have operations folks looking into it and will continue to monitor the service. Our apologies for the problems.

One of the frontline webservers had its database shut itself down. The operations team did a quick diagnosis and brought it back up, but some sites were unresponsive for a period of about 15 minutes today.

UPDATE June 24 10:30CST: The error was caused by an incorrect configuration file being sent to some sites. The mistake has been corrected, and all sites are back up and running per normal. We are sorry for the disruption.
This morning we're getting reports of internal server errors on some sites which were not caught by our montiors. The tech team is looking into it and we will update this status ticket as soon as we have more information.

UPDATE 11:38pm CST: The operations team has the server back up and running just fine; total downtime for some sites was about 10 minutes. We're sorry for the disruption.
One of the frontline webservers has gone down. Network engineers are looking into it and I'll update this ticket when I have more information.

UPDATE 05/14/15 4:00am: All the servers that needed reboots were successfully rebooted and all services came back up right away. There was approximately 90 seconds of down time for affected sites. This issue can be considered closed.
Yesterday we were notified of a potential security vulnerability that affects IndieMade servers. The servers have been patched, but will require reboots. As a result IndieMade sites will have a brief downtime, starting tomorrow morning aroud 3:30am. We'll update this ticket when there are more details.

UPDATE 04/12/15 10:25am CST: Server has been entirely healthy since the issue, so officially calling this issue fixed.
UPDATE 04/11/15 08:19am CST: The server is back up and all content on that host is accessible again. We'll continue to monitor the system for a while to make sure all the problems have been addressed.
One of the physical servers that hosts IndieMade sites is unresponsive, so a subset of IndieMade sites are not available. Engineers are taking a look. We'll update this ticket when we know more.

UPDATE 03/25/2015 9:00am CST: Server has been running as normal for over a day; fixed.
UPDATE 03/23/2015 1:09pm CST: Network ops folks have addressed the issue and speed has been back to normal for about ten minutes. We'll continue to monitor the servers to make sure that all the issues have been addressed.
Two of our front-line webservers are under heavy load. Operations folks are taking a look and we will report back when the problem has been identified.

UPDATE 03/09/2015 05:59am: Our engineers reconfigured the networking service on the affected server and performance is back to normal.
One of the frontline webservers is under exceptionally high traffic and performance is poor. We're looking into it.

UPDATE 03/07/15 01:35am CST: The server maintenance went smoothly and has been completed. Of those servers that needed reboots, all of them came back online shortly with no problems. Thanks for your patience while we made these important improvements.
