October 7 - 9: Urban Folk Art Show will be having their premier Pacific Northwest show at the Washington County Fair Complex in Hillsboro, OR just outside of Portland. There is a $4 admission and you can receive $1 off that if you bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Oregon Food Bank (so great!). That admission gets you in to all three days, a free UFA tote bag, live music, DIY projects, prizes and more.

October 8: Ballston Arts and Crafts Market will be having their last show of the season this Saturday in Welburn Square in Arlington, VA. This outdoor juried market offers free tote bags to the first 50 visitors, live music and free yoga (yay!) in addition to the amazing vendors.

October 8: Handmade Market happens this month at the Empty Bottle in Chicago. It is a 21+ and parents with kids event so you can shop AND enjoy a cocktail or beer if you wish. Makers are encouraged to demonstrate or make their products during the event.

October 8 - 9: Liberty Local is a new indie craft fair that will be held at Ann Arbor Art Center in Ann Arbor, MI. There will be two floors of crafty goodness and the proceeds for the $1 admission fee will go to support programs at the art center.

October 15: Urban Folk Circuit is celebrating it's 1 year anniversary at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago. This is a monthly traveling show in the city. It offers free admission and live music at every event.
